Abstract In this paper, an integration of a fuzzy-interval credibility-constrained (FIC) model expressed by fuzzy interval sets (FIS) and nonlinear programming (INP), termed FIC-INP model, was proposed applied to two cases. After formulating the upper lower disinfection booster costs can be obtained for cases under various combinations credibility levels limits. The results indicated that increased with as well numbers. For limit constraints ranging from 0.6 0.9, enlarging/widening trapezoidal distributions, intervals uncertainty. constraint level 0.5, decreased shrinking/narrowing cost larger distributions. degrees effect uncertainty are higher than provide more information managers make schemes uncertainties.
